Over the years, the format has changed quite a bit. Instead of putting together a random assortment of Halloween products just for the sake of keeping everything a mystery, we wanted the 2026 version to feel like one complete collection.

That's how this year's Boo Box came together.

This year's Boo Box contains nine matching Halloween products with a total stated retail value of $202, priced together at $114.

Every 2026 Boo Box includes:

• A 40oz tumbler

The woven blanket and 40oz tumbler are the two largest pieces inside, but the idea behind the box was never to throw a couple of big products in with a pile of filler.

We wanted everything to feel like it belonged together.

The collection combines original Sterye artwork across our Boo & Spook and Mrs. Weens Trick r' Treaters designs, so opening the box feels more like discovering an entire Halloween collection than receiving nine unrelated products.

Why Is It Called the Boo Box?

A boo basket is a Halloween-themed gift basket filled with spooky treats and gifts for someone else or yourself.

They're usually handmade, which is part of the fun. You choose the basket, pick out the gifts, add candy and little decorations, and put everything together.

Our Boo Box isn't literally a traditional boo basket.

Think of it as the ready-made alternative.

Instead of shopping for a basket, blanket, drinkware, candle, collectible, accessories, and all of the smaller pieces separately, they're already brought together into one matching Halloween collection.

So if you've been searching for a premade boo basket, Halloween care package, or Halloween gift box, the Boo Box fills a pretty similar role without pretending they're exactly the same thing.

What Makes This Halloween Box Different?

There are plenty of Halloween gift boxes out there, so simply putting nine orange-and-black things into a box wasn't enough for us.

A few things were especially important when we created this year's collection.

The artwork used across the Boo Box products was created for Sterye by human artists.

We don't use AI-generated artwork in our product designs.

That matters to us, especially with a collection this large. The goal was to create products that feel like pieces of an actual Sterye Halloween collection rather than designs pulled from a generic seasonal catalog.

Nine Products That Actually Go Together

This year, the products were designed to work as one collection.

The blanket, tumbler, tote, candle, collectible, and smaller pieces aren't there simply because we needed to hit a certain item count.

They share the same spooky-season world.

There's still plenty of fun in finally seeing the artwork, details, sizes, and full collection together when everything arrives.

If the complete surprise is the part you love most about mystery boxes, our Horror Mystery Box is the better choice. Its exact contents vary and it comes in multiple box options depending on how big of an unboxing you want.

That means deliveries are expected to begin arriving in early October depending on the shipping carrier and destination.

If you're purchasing one as a Halloween gift, keep the preorder timing in mind rather than waiting until October 30 and expecting us to summon it onto someone's porch.
