This months box features items designed around the Folk Horror genre!
Do you enjoy Horror movies, stories, folklore, and a new original character every now and then? What about an exciting mix of 6 exclusive items crafted around the horror theme of the month? We're talking items you can actually use, display, or wear. Now while we don't believe this box is for all Horror fans -- due to the initial 2 month waiting period, and a lot of the items inside are unique items with some being a mix of playful and serious designs. We do aim for a fun Horror experience like no other. If you don't feel like waiting 2 months for your first box, we do sell previous months boxes at a slight marked up price that are ready to ship. As well as boxes that are available for one time purchase pre-orders for those who don't want a subscription!
Please keep in mind there is an initial 2 month waiting period for your first box to ship, then you can expect a box each month after. So if you subscribe in let's say June, you'll start receiving boxes starting in August. Please pay attention to the estimated shipping times we have below, and on our Horror box shipping status page.
Although T-shirts won't be in every box, it is required to select your t-shirt size. We use unisex t-shirt sizes.
How does this subscription work?
- Subscription are charged monthly starting at $45 per month, with options for one-time purchase pre-orders on separate page.
- Themes and collections are curated monthly, but boxes are shipped approximately 2 months after initial subscription month due to design and production time.
- T-shirt sizes must be selected, though not every box will include a t-shirt.
- Each box comes with a 6-item collection curated around the theme of the month subscribed in
Subscriptions renew monthly, but it takes 2 months to get a box?
Rest assured, we keep you updated every step of the way. Since you'd be charged 1-2 times for your 2nd and 3rd month boxes before receiving your 1st box, if you dislike the 1st box and would not like any further boxes let us know and we can have them cancelled and refund the 2nd and 3rd boxes for you if you were charged for them.
At any time during this subscription as long as your order hasn't been shipped, we can also have it cancelled for you if something comes up and you change your mind.
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We keep you informed every step of the way with regular updates on shipping times, ensuring transparency throughout. Should you ever have concerns, our flexible cancellation policy allows refunds before shipment, and damaged items are promptly replaced upon notification.

Processing
Every box is hand packaged and put together by us and our small team, on average it may take us up to 7 days to get to orders. Sometimes it may be the same day, within an hour of your order. Others it may be 2 weeks. It all depends on our current order volume. During busy times we do have lots of boxes we pre-packaged in anticipation for high volume orders coming in, so unless there's a note on an order we should have your box shipped out within 7 days.

Shipping
Once your order has been shipped out, you'll receive a notification through either email or text (whichever you used at checkout). If through email, it may appear in the promotions folder, or the spam folder. The shipping notification will send you your orders tracking information. All boxes usually take between 1-5 business days to be delivered after this notification goes out. If there's ever an issue with the tracking or any delays, missing packages, etc, please notify us and we'll be more than happy to assist you!

Return Policy
Refund, Returns, & Exchanges
Currently for both our Mystery Boxes and Tumblers, we offer 10 day windows after delivery for you to notify us if any item has arrived damaged or broken. Please contact us through email (mystery@sterye.com), instagram (@steryeboxes), or directly through our website and we'll reply to you within 24 hours. If no response was given within 24 hours, please contact us on a different platform as there might be an issue receiving your message, or sending ours. We strive to have the best customer service we can! Always feel free to contact us :)
Tumblers
For our tumblers, our policy lasts 10 days after the delivery was made. If 10 days have gone by since your tumbler has been delivered, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your items must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
If you aren't satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 10 days of the delivery date with your item unused and in original condition. If you simply did not like your item, please contact us and let us know what you did not like and why and we'll assist you.
Mystery Boxes
For our Mystery boxes, we unfortunately cannot offer returns or refunds currently. If any items were damaged or missing upon receiving your package, please contact us with pictures and we'll see if we can get you a replacement delivered as soon as we can, or a credit/discount code. Please contact us within 10 days of the delivery date.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at steryebox@gmail.com and send your item to: 16411 Willingham Way, Houston, TX, 77095, United States.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return. Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
