1. Processing Times

At Sterye, every box is carefully hand-packaged by our small team to ensure quality and attention to detail.

  • Processing times typically take 1–3 business days from the date of purchase. However, during high-volume periods or collection releases, processing may take up to 7 days.
  • During busy periods, we aim to have pre-packaged boxes ready to reduce delays. Unless otherwise noted, your order should be shipped within 7 days of purchase.

2. Shipping Times

Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation via email or text (based on the contact method used at checkout).

Delivery Estimates:

  • Domestic orders: Most orders are delivered within 1–5 business days from the shipping date, but delivery times may vary based on carrier services and location.
  • International orders: Delivery times vary by location but typically range from 7–21 business days depending on customs processing and local carrier services.

Tracking Information:

  • If you don’t see your email confirmation, check your Promotions or Spam folder.
  • Your shipping confirmation will include a tracking number to monitor your order’s progress.

4. International Shipping

We offer international shipping to select countries. Please note:

  • Customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes related to international shipments.
  • International delivery times may be delayed due to customs processing, carrier issues, or local import regulations.

5. Lost or Missing Packages

If your package has not arrived within the estimated delivery window:

  1. First, check the tracking link provided in your confirmation email.
  2. Confirm with your local post office or carrier, as they may have further information.
  3. If you’re still unable to locate your package, contact us at Mystery@Sterye.com. While we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery, we’ll do our best to assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.

6. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery

If a delivery fails due to an incorrect shipping address provided at checkout, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping fees may apply.


7. Order Modifications

Once an order has been processed or shipped, we cannot make changes to the shipping address or order details.

Sterye Refund Policy


1. RETURNS AND REFUNDS OVERVIEW

At Sterye, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and a seamless shopping experience. Due to the nature of our products, we have specific guidelines for returns and refunds to ensure fairness and clarity for both you and our business:

  • Mystery Boxes are sold as a surprise experience, and all sales are considered final unless the item is damaged or defective upon delivery.
  • Non-mystery box products may be eligible for a return or refund under certain conditions outlined below.

2. MYSTERY BOX POLICY

Due to the nature of mystery boxes:

  • All sales are final for mystery boxes unless an item arrives damaged or defective.
  • Mystery box contents can be curated and selected at random. Dissatisfaction with the contents (e.g., theme or duplicate items) does not qualify for a refund or exchange.
  • Partial refunds or exchanges of individual items within the mystery box are not permitted.
  • In the event that a listed product is unavailable at the time of packing, we reserve the right to substitute it with an item of equal or greater value. Substitutions will be consistent with the box's theme and value. We are not responsible for minor variations in color, style, or design.

3. RETURN ELIGIBILITY FOR NON-MYSTERY BOX PRODUCTS

We accept returns for non-mystery box products under the following conditions:

  • ✅ The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when it was received. Products that have been worn, washed, or altered in any way are not eligible for return.
  • ✅ You must initiate the return within 14 days of delivery.
  • ✅ Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.

4. NON-RETURNABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for the following:

  • ❌ Mystery boxes (unless damaged or defective upon delivery).
  • ❌ Sale items, clearance items, or promotional products.
  • ❌ Gift cards.
  • ❌ Personalized or custom-made products.
  • ❌ Perishable goods (e.g., candy or snacks).

5. DAMAGE OR DEFECT POLICY

If an item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery by contacting us at Mystery@Sterye.com with:

  • A clear photo of the damaged or defective item.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Your order number.

✅ If the damage claim is approved:

  • We will offer either a replacement item (if available) or a store credit for the value of the damaged item.
  • If the item is no longer available, we will issue store credit equal to the value of the item.
  • We may request that you return the damaged product or provide additional documentation to support your claim.

6. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

To start a return, email us at Mystery@Sterye.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A brief reason for the return
  • A photo of the item (if applicable)

7. REFUND PROCESSING

Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days after approval. Processing times may vary based on your bank or payment provider.


8. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

9. CANCELLATIONS

You may cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it if the order has not yet been processed or shipped.

FAQs

What's your shipping + processing time?

Our current processing time is up to 4 business days for ready to ship products. Shipping on average takes between 2-5 business days. If you ever need an order update, or there's an issue with shipping, send us a message through our website's quick chat, or email us at mystery@sterye.com :)

Do you only sell mystery boxes?

No! While we specialize in mystery boxes, we do offer mystery bags, and some items are available for individual purchases aside from boxes!

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

While we do offer returns within 10 days of the delivery date for most individual items, we currently don't offer returns for mystery boxes or bags. We can still do exchanges for mystery box items if an item is damaged upon delivery. Please notify us within 7 days of the delivery date if an item was damaged. Damaged items would be replaced with the same product that's non-damaged.

What mystery boxes do you currently offer?

We currently offer a Horror subscription box, a Cottage core mystery box, and we do seasonal mystery boxes such as Halloween, Valentines, and more. We do have plans for a Pink box to launch in Nov 2024!

How do I manage my subscription?

The only subscription we currently offer is for our Horror subscription box, and if you're looking to manage that please go to the account/log in page, or click "manage subscription" under links at the bottom of our website in the footer :)
